Jeanette Leehr, Board Chair.
Television Producer, Minneapolis, MN
Ms. Leehr produces arts and cultural television programs for public
television. She has studied international relations and law and provides
contacts in industry for Los Ninos. Before joining the board nine years ago,
Ms. Leehr founded the non-profit HarmoniAmerica Foundation, along with actor Edward James Olmos, to focus on issues of indigenous people in poverty.
Phillip Hadley, Vice Chair.
Headmaster, Lynchburg, VA
Dr. Hadley is the headmaster of the Virginia Episcopal School, a private preparatory school. He is bi-lingual and brings extensive experience in Mexico to his board role.
William McLaughlin, Vice Chair.
Insurance Company, Buffalo, NY
Long-term affiliation with the organization (30 years). Avid bike rider and supporter of various charitable causes. Strong member of his home parish.
Susan Pinza, Secretary.
Professor, Bakersfield, CA.
Affiliated with Los Niños for 30 years as volunteer and board member. Bi-lingual and in the field of Developmental Education, she teaches at Bakersfield College.
Walter Ludlow, Finance Officer.
Certified Public Accountant, San Diego, CA working in the US and Mexico. Bi-lingual. Has worked with community development efforts through mission work and with Los Ninos (+15 years).
William Bramley, Member.
Attorney at Law, San Diego, CA
Long-term affiliation with the organization (+24 years). Also works with non-profit law organization and represents Los Niños on micro credit.
Tom Brown, Member.
Mayor of Port Clinton, Ohio. Mr. Brown also serves as Board Chair of Terra College and a connection has been made for exchange and education with Los Niños and the College.
Joan Bryden, Member.
Journalist, Port Clinton, OH
Ms. Bryden works with authors and media related to various issues including nutrition and cooking. Her contacts include a strong relationship with Share Our Strength as a volunteer in Cleveland and San Diego.
Juan Rangel, Member.
Non-Profit Executive, Chicago, IL
Mr. Rangel is the Executive Director of UNO (United Neighborhood Organization) in Chicago. The organization is focused on community leadership development and runs charter schools.
Peter Skerry, Member.
Professor, Boston, MA
Dr. Skerry is a professor at Boston College. He is a known researcher/author on issues of migration and is interested to support Los Niños with migrant education projects.
